Job summary

IAIA seeks a dedicated Maintenance Apprentice to support facilities, vehicles and equipment under the Facilities Manager. The role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks on IAIA facilities and grounds, often outdoors, and assisting with setup for meetings and events.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid New Mexico driver's license and a clean driving record for bonding. You will work with minimal supervision and follow safety standards to protect the campus

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Must have a current and valid NM driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Bondable to drive IAIA vehicle and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks on IAIA facilities, vehicles and equipment, outdoors as needed.
• Assist with HVAC filter replacement, minor carpentry, painting and drywall repairs.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, furniture assembly and general upkeep; support snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Set up meeting and conference spaces and run errands as assigned.
