Job summary

Silverman Mechanical is hiring an Apprentice to support our HVAC and plumbing crews in Mongaup Valley, NY. No prior trade experience is required; we’ll train the right person and provide a clear path to advancement.

You will assist with installs, service calls, and material handling, load and organize tools, prep job sites, and keep work areas safe. This is steady, year-round, in-person work with a company investing in your growth and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• No prior trade experience required — willingness to learn is what matters most
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet throughout the day
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Interest in building a long-term career in the trades

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbing and HVAC crews with installs, service calls, and material handling
• Load, unload, and organize tools, parts, and equipment
• Help prep job sites and keep work areas clean and safe
• Run parts between the warehouse, trucks, and job sites as needed

The Role
