Apprentice Grounds Maintenance Operative

Full Time 40 Hours Per Week

At Glendale, we have a great new opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Commercial team, working on a variety of sites across the region.

Who are you?

Applicants must hold a full, clean driving licence. Experience driving light commercial vehicles and towing trailers is desirable. You should be reliable, conscientious, possess a can-do attitude, and be willing to learn. Ability to work independently is essential. Previous grounds maintenance, horticultural tasks, and handheld machinery experience are desirable, but full training will be provided.

A glimpse into the role awaiting you

You will undertake grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing large grassed areas, strimming, blowing, line marking, renovation, hedge trimming, and general shrub bed maintenance. Additional tasks include sports markings, hedge cutting, and hard surface spraying operations.
