DESCRIPTION

The Fuel System Technician is responsible for maintenance of retail fuel system equipment including fuel dispensers, UST equipment and POS systems. Typical responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot and repair Gilbarco and/or Wayne fuel dispensers, tank monitoring systems, submersible pumps, and associated underground storage tank equipment.
• Inspect dispensers and other fuel system equipment to make necessary repairs.
• Complete work orders as assigned in the maintenance tracking system.
• Assist and oversee third-party service technicians.
• Assist in training store staff to perform routine dispenser repairs using established procedures.
• Check fuel meter calibration and oversee third-party contractor during meter recalibration.
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Gilbarco, Wayne and/or Veeder Root certifications preferred.
• Minimum of five years of relevant fuel system maintenance or fuel system construction experience.
• Ability to work 40+ hours a week.
• Valid driver’s license & good driving record.
• Travel required (company vehicle provided during shift).
• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Rotating on-call schedule for weekends and after hour emergencies.
• Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
