POSITION TITLE: Apprentice Fueling Technician

LOCATION: Covering locations in Plymouth, Bristol, Norfolk, Suffolk and Middlesex Counties.

Below is a general outline of some of the roles/ responsibilities our Gas Attendants (this list is not all inclusive):

• A good working knowledge of station policies and procedures.
• The general appearance of your work area and the station as a whole.
• Closely following the dress code standards (clean shaven, appropriate hair length, clean uniform, etc.)
• Developing good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowing your products and their prices.
• The security of all money on the property, left in your charge.
• Keeping informed of special offers, pricing, and programs in order to explain in detail to our customers.
• Coming to work with a smile and a positive attitude leaving your personal affairs at the door.
  
  

The Following Constitute “essential Functions” Of The Job

• Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level in order to be able to make change, complete shift reports, and account for a variety of products during vendor check-in.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds while using proper lifting techniques
• Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in any form of emergencies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products;
• Ability to work in various temperature environments (coolers, outside in various weather conditions, and in the store) for 8 hours a day
• Quick service response upon customer's arrival at Gas Island or upon entering the c-store with appropriate J&S greeting.
• Serve customer needs professionally with appropriate language, respect and mannerisms.
• Acceptance of customer payment for services rendered. This is done expediently, accurately, with a smile and sincere thank you, followed by a farewell.
• Cleaning and stocking tasks assigned to you by your immediate supervisor, including keeping driveway's clean of debris and snow.
• Perform all essential gas island procedures as stated to you in your training.
• Assisting other attendants when needed to better expedite the servicing of our customer’s needs (TEAMWORK)
• Must be 18 years of age
  
  

Total Bonus Amount of $1,500-Team member must be employed to receive the payout.

Paid $250 after 30 days, $250 after 90 days, $250 after 120 days & $750 after 180 days
