Job summary

ProLift Toyota Material Handling in Cincinnati is seeking motivated individuals for an apprentice technician career. No prior forklift repair experience is required; we provide the training, tools, and mentorship needed to become a professional technician.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs under a mentor while learning safety procedures and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Technical school education is preferred.
• Basic hand tools or willingness to acquire them.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in rain or snow.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related issues.
• Complete repairs under the guidance of a mentor.
• Learn proper safety procedures and industry best practices.
• Use diagnostic software and service documentation.
• Build relationships with customers through professional service interactions.
