Job summary

Western States Fire Protection (WSFP) invites applicants for a Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice. You will learn to install and service fixed extinguishing systems and travel to multiple Colorado job sites, aligning with the UA Local Union requirements.

No prior experience is required, but a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs are essential. The role follows the union collective bargaining agreement and offers union-based benefits.

Qualifications

• Willing to become a UA Local Union member.
• 18 years or older with HS/GED.
• High school diploma or GED required; no experience needed.
• Driver’s license required per company policy.
• Able to lift 50 lbs with/without accommodation.
• Willing to climb ladders and work safely.
• Strong mechanical background preferred; construct. environment risk awareness.
• Willing to pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install, repair and maintain fixed extinguishing systems.
• Handle underground piping and various fire protection equipment.
• Travel within Colorado and work at multiple job sites.
• Comply with the union collective bargaining agreement.
