Job Description

This is a 1-year apprentice program – Customer Engineer – Thermal Apprenticeship

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for putting into service, maintaining, and repairing Group material at customer sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare interventions (gather documents, technical files, necessary parts, participate in preparatory meetings)
2. Develop or review detailed intervention planning
3. Commission equipment following established procedures
4. Conduct electrical, mechanical (isolation tests), or functional (alarm, failover) tests
5. Perform electrical measurements (on-site test sheets, electrical and design)
6. Prepare battery formatting and test battery discharge during maintenance interventions
7. Perform equipment maintenance as per maintenance contracts
8. Train maintenance technicians of customer companies
9. Assist in troubleshooting interventions
10. Validate or correct fault diagnoses made by technical support
11. Perform mending tasks
12. Refer technical support for troubleshooting issues and report back
13. Present and validate intervention reports to supervisors
14. Develop acceptance orders
15. Make technical recommendations
16. Identify technical needs via TIC (Commercial Information Transfer to the after-sales service)
17. Check spare parts inventory at the customer site
