Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in San Francisco is hiring an Apprentice Engineer to support maintenance and engineering tasks across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will operate under supervision, focusing on safety and growth within an entry-level training program.

The role offers a 39-hour weekly schedule with a 7:00 am–3:00 pm shift, on-site presence, and a starting hourly rate reflecting local union wages.

Qualifications

• Must be able to join Apprentice program, if applicable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders up to 30 feet tall.
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
• Assist with general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or painting.
• Complete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintain service documentation.
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditions.
• Work closely under direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers and others.
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
• Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable).
• Other projects and tasks to be assigned.

What this job involves

Launch your career in maintenance and engineering at JLL! The Apprentice Engineer supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. The Apprentice Engineer will work under supervision and focus on working safely. This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the engineering field. Position may be part of a multi-year training program.

Schedule

Schedule: 7:00 am-3:00 pm Monday through Friday + rotating on-call (1 week on call every 4 weeks) Local UNION- 39-hourly rate $49.73 hourly

What your day-to-day will look like

• Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
