Qualifications

• Must be able to become registered as an apprentice embalmer and licensed by the State of California.
• Graduate of Cypress College Mortuary Science Program preferred.
• Demonstrates open communication, teamwork and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Embalm human remains and prepare for viewing, burial or other disposition.
• Answer high-volume phone inquiries professionally and empathetically.
• Dress, cosmetize and casket remains as required.
• Assist with removals from places of death and transport duties.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow company policies.
