Job summary

Saulsbury Industries is seeking an Apprentice Electrician in Lubbock, TX to support industrial construction projects. You will assist in wiring, hand and power tools use, and follow safety procedures on site.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of experience in industrial electrical construction and knowledge of the National Electric Code. OT and safety training are part of the role. We offer stable employment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ of experience in the industrial, electrical construction environment.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code and basic safety practices

• Performs work area clean-up and safety-related duties.
• Communicates with various personnel concerning initiation of maintenance.
• Required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by supervisor or designated representative.
• Requires working in operating facilities and observing and abiding by additional safety policies and procedures.
• Performs wire pulling.
• Spotters for Equipment Operators
• Other duties as assigned.

General Information/Job Summary

The Electrical Apprentice is responsible for knowing and following appropriate safety procedures. Must have construction experience within the Industrial Construction Project Environment.

Responsibilities/Competencies

Requirements

• Ability to pass drug test as mandated by the Saulsbury Industries and Department of Transportation anti-drug program.
• Must attend and successfully complete Saulsbury Industries safety training education.
• Attend safety meetings and specialty training as directed by management.
• Attend various training classes as may be assigned by management.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
• Ability to take needed safety precautions in performing the work.
