Job summary

Interstates is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team supporting electrical, controls, automation, and OT work across our Texas operations. You will learn on-the-job while performing conduit work, installing conductors, and assisting Journeyman Electricians on diverse projects near Lubbock.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a DOL-approved Electrical Apprenticeship Program or pursuing completion.
• Must have certificate or AS degree in electrical technology, electrical construction, instrumentation or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel within a 200-mile radius around Lubbock, TX and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend conduit using tape measures and power/hand tools.
• Install conductors in raceways and cable trays.
• Assist Journeyman and Foreman Electricians on projects and load materials.
• Operate drills, saws, and other power tools safely on site.
• Perform housekeeping and support duties to keep the work area clean and organized.
