Job summary

Interstates is hiring an Apprentice Electrician to support electrical, controls, automation, and OT work on job sites around Lubbock, TX. You will work with Journeyman electricians and foremen, assisting with installation, wiring, and material handling while following safety standards.

The role requires enrollment in a DOL approved Electrical Apprenticeship Program or related certification, with travel within a 200-mile radius and a schedule that varies by site.

Qualifications

• Candidate is interested in completing a DOL approved Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
• Certificate or AS degree in electrical technology, electrical construction, instrumentation, or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend conduit using appropriate tools.
• Operate power tools and assist in wiring and installation tasks.
• Assist Journeyman and Foreman Electricians by delivering materials and equipment.
• Load/ unload and furnish crews with supplies to keep projects moving.
• Follow safety protocols and work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
