Job summary

Tri-State Water, Power & Air Inc. in St. Louis is seeking motivated individuals to join the Power Installation Team as an Apprentice Electrician.

You will gain hands-on experience in assessing sites, assisting with generator installation, wiring, and fuel system setup while ensuring safety and building code compliance. Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to learn on the job and follow safety protocols.
• Ability to work well in a team and under supervision.
• Understanding of electrical or mechanical concepts is a plus.
• Able to perform manual labor and lift/move equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in site assessment for generator installation, including space, ventilation, and proximity to panels.
• Support generator installation, wiring, and ensuring safety and code compliance.
• Help connect generators to building electrical systems and transfer switches.
• Assist with fuel system setup and coordination with plumbers for fuel lines.
• Aid in testing, commissioning, and load testing of installed generators.
