Position Summary

This role is part of BLS Electrical's Electrical Division, reporting to the Crew Foreman. The Apprentice Electrician I will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in construction environments, always emphasizing safety, efficiency, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule project timelines.
• Follow health and safety policies, demonstrating high safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations.
• Enhance knowledge through ongoing education and technical reading.
• Perform duties as directed by management.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment properly.
• Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems following codes and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety protocols.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Attention to detail and safety consciousness.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Dependability and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED; electrical schooling preferred.
• 1-2 years of electrical experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and Electrical Apprentice License required.
• Own hand tools and a safe driving record.
• Ability to work in commercial and industrial environments.
