Join to apply for the Apprentice Electrician - 2+ years exp role at Facility Solutions Group.

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of a journeyman-level electrician assisting in the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of electrical systems on commercial work sites. The ideal candidate will be working towards a career in the trade with Facility Solutions Group. 2+ years recent experience required.

Responsibilities include:

1. Gather tools and supplies to be used at the work site.
2. Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
3. Trace out short circuits in wiring.
4. Assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit, and motors.
5. Maintain tools and equipment and keep supplies and parts in order.
6. Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
7. Help in securing, relocating, and organizing materials, small tools, and equipment from and back to appropriate storage areas.
8. Keep the work area clean by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
9. Assist in pulling wire, lifting, hoisting, and positioning materials.
10. May operate hand tools and equipment under supervision.
11. Assist in mounting and strapping conduit.
12. Support more senior personnel in electrical installations, connections, and terminations under supervision.
13. Perform other project-related duties as instructed.
14. Note: An apprentice electrician will not work on energized circuits or equipment.

Minimum requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• Current State Apprentice Electrician's License.
• 2+ years recent electrical experience.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive customer service skills.
• Experience in lighting is a plus.

Compensation: USD $18.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
