Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-4pm and 12pm-10pm.
Will need active apprentice license and 1+ years' experience. Must have your own basic tools & steel-toe shoes/boots.
Description:
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Commercial Apprentice Electricians with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade to join our team for an exciting new commercial construction project. This role will involve working on various electrical systems in a brand-new commercial building, performing key tasks such as running conduit, bending pipe, and assisting with low-voltage wiring.
Responsibilities:
- Run conduit and install electrical pipe systems in new commercial buildings.
- Bend electrical pipe to specified angles and measurements for proper installation.
- Assist with the installation and connection of valves and electrical components.
- Perform work on low-voltage wiring systems under the guidance of senior electricians.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all installations meet industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with the electrical team to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working as an Apprentice Electrician, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Proficiency in running conduit, bending electrical pipe, and basic electrical installations.
- Basic understanding of low-voltage wiring and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and advance within the electrical trade.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience working on new construction projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and regulations.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting and working in various weather conditions.
