Job summary

OWL Services LLC is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join a nationwide team focused on commercial and industrial electrical work. The right candidate is actively pursuing a Journeyman license and ready to travel extensively to job sites.

Applicants should have 3–6 years of relevant experience, own tools, and a valid driver’s license. Compensation is hourly with per diem and travel compensation, plus full benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of commercial, industrial electrical experience.
• Active apprentice license (TDLR or equivalent).
• Willing to travel up to 85% with extended out-of-town assignments.
• Own hand tools and a reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, I-9, and a hands‑on skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit systems; pull feeders; set devices and power distribution equipment.
• Terminate panels, transformers, and switchgear under supervision by a Journeyman or Foreman.
• Interpret drawings, one-lines, and specs with limited oversight.
• Maintain organization and follow OSHA, NFPA 70E, and LOTO procedures on every job.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. Our ideal candidate is eager to learn, possesses a strong work ethic, and has a genuine interest in pursuing a career as an electrician. This is an opportunity for a long term position and to join a growing company.

Who This Is For

You have 3–6+ years in dedicated commercial or industrial electrical work and can handle your share of the installation without being walked through it. You're working toward your Journeyman license and want a company that pays for production and helps you get there. You're comfortable spending long stretches on the road.

What You'll Do

• Install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit systems, pull feeders, and set devices, lighting, and commercial power distribution equipment
• Terminate panels, transformers, and switchgear under a licensed Journeyman or Foreman
• Work from drawings, one-lines, and specs with limited oversight
• Keep your area and material organized, and follow OSHA, NFPA 70E, and LOTO procedures on every job

Requirements

• 3–6 years (about 6,000–12,000 documented hours) of commercial, industrial, or similar electrical construction experience
• Ground‑up or heavy commercial experience preferred
• Active apprentice license - Texas TDLR or the equivalent for your state
• Your own hand tools
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Willing to travel up to 85%, with extended out‑of‑town assignments
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Able to complete Form I-9 employment eligibility verification
• Able to complete a hands‑on skills assessment

This is not for you if:

• You have mostly residential, service, or low‑voltage experience
• You need to be home every weekend or want local work only
• You don't have reliable transportation to get to job sites

Travel & Schedule

• Projects are nationwide, and assignment length depends on each project's schedule and needs
• You'll have opportunities to return home, coordinated with field leadership based on project timing
• Orientation is held in Fort Worth, TX. It's paid, and the company provides lodging during orientation.
• Weekly per diem, mileage reimbursement, and paid travel time apply to travel assignments

Pay & Benefits

• $26–$32/hr DOE. Your final rate is set after a field skills check, not just your résumé.
