Job summary

Loenbro in Montgomery, AL is seeking an Apprentice Electrician who will work under Journeyman Electricians to install, start-up, troubleshoot, commission and service industrial and commercial electrical equipment and systems. The apprentice will follow Journeyman guidance to complete maintenance and repair tasks.

Responsibilities include observing and learning, performing assigned tasks with others or independently, emphasizing safety, and using the appropriate tools to support project needs.

Qualifications

• Have between 2-4 years (4000-7500 OJT hours) of electrical work experience.
• Strong understanding of the importance of quality work.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with others.

• Observe, learn, and understand a wide range of skills and processes under the instruction of a skilled electrician.
• Demonstrate these skills and processes as on-the-job training progresses by working independently or with others to complete assigned tasks.
• Learn and understand the importance of safety within the workspace and across projects.
• Learn about the various tools and materials required for electricians to complete tasks and projects.
• Maintain good housekeeping and organization in the work area.
• Properly utilize the required tools and equipment for each specific task.

Job Summary
