Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Apprentice Electrician to join our team! In this role, you will grow and learn in a team in the electrical field, traveling to job locations to conduct installs, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical wiring and equipment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Repair and replace wiring.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Document repairs and modifications.
• Manage and mentor apprentice electricians.
• Work with architects, contractors, and clients.
• Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues.
• Design and install indoor and outdoor electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Electrician or willingness to join the apprenticeship program if needed.
• Travel 100%
• Use of testing equipment and hand tools.
• Willingness to conduct trench work, running pipe.
• Strong communication skills to interact with skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma or GED.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.
• OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Training and Safety (training provided, preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code, and local building codes.
