As an Apprentice Electrician, you'll gain hands-on experience in a range of commercial projects across New Jersey and New York City. This role is ideal for those who are ready to build on their skills and knowledge while working closely with licensed journeymen electricians and project managers. You'll have the chance to develop your skills in wiring, troubleshooting, and safety practices while working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Interpret and follow electrical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Handle tools and materials, keeping the workspace organized and efficient
• Attend training sessions to build knowledge of electrical practices, codes, and standards
• Report progress and any issues to the supervisor or project manager

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical work or a similar field (preferred but not required)
• Strong willingness to learn and a commitment to quality work
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Familiarity with basic electrical tools and safety procedures
• Ability to work in various locations in Northern New Jersey and New York City
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• An OSHA 40 certification is required for work in New Jersey, while a New York City DOB SST card is mandatory for work in New York City.
