Join to apply for the Apprentice Diesel Tech-Mechanic role at TravelCenters of America.

We are seeking a Diesel Technician to join our team! As a Diesel Mechanic, you will provide accurate, efficient service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers in accordance with company and industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in a positive, trusting environment focused on exceeding customer expectations.
• Perform diagnostic testing, interpret results, develop repair plans, and communicate them effectively.
• Repair malfunctioning parts and other mechanical or electrical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Recommend additional TA services during inspection reviews.
• Ensure the safety of customers and employees at all times.

Qualifications

• A dedicated individual who works well with others and is eager to be part of our team.
• High School Diploma or GED; completion of an acceptable trade or technical school, or previous mechanic experience.
• Willingness to expand professional knowledge through education and training.
• Ability to work independently and flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays, in various conditions.
