Join to apply for the Apprentice Diesel Tech-Mechanic role at TravelCenters of America.

We are seeking a Diesel Technician to join our team! As a Diesel Mechanic, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers, providing accurate and efficient service within industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Work in a customer-focused environment that exceeds expectations.
  2. Perform diagnostic testing, interpret results, develop repair plans, and communicate with Service Advisors.
  3. Repair malfunctioning parts and mechanical or electrical equipment safely and effectively.
  4. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  5. Recommend additional TA services during inspection reviews.
  6. Ensure safety for customers and employees.
Qualifications
  1. Team-oriented individual eager to contribute.
  2. High School Diploma or GED; trade school or mechanic experience preferred.
  3. Willingness to learn through education and training.
  4. Ability to work independently and flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  5. Physical ability to perform tasks with or without accommodations.
  6. Investment in own tools.
Pay Range

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
