Job summary

Lords Chimney in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Apprentice Chimney Technician. You will unload materials, set up gear, climb rooftops, and assist with chimney repairs and fireplace installations. The role is physically demanding and requires teamwork and safety-minded approach.

You will work alongside experienced technicians, with paid on-the-job training, and opportunities for growth. Competitive hourly pay offered with benefits including 401K, health insurance, PTO, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Able to follow lead technician instructions.
• Able to lift 80+ lbs and work on rooftops.
• Able to safely set up and work on job sites.
• Construction experience is a plus.
• Medical card is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials and set up equipment, ensuring a safe site.
• Assist with chimney repairs and fireplace installations on rooftops.
• Work with an experienced tech and climb ladders to access work areas.
• Perform physically demanding tasks and help move heavy materials.
• Contribute to safer homes by maintaining high work standards.

• Ability to lift 80+ lbs

• Possessing a medical card is a plus
• Construction experience is a plus!

Must be able to pass a background check. We also conduct pre-employment drug testing. Any job offer will be based on the results of background and drug testing.
