Job summary

Las Cruces Public Schools is seeking an Apprentice Carpenter to join the Physical Plant team. This role supports maintenance and trades work in the district's facilities, under supervision, applying basic carpentry skills to projects and repairs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and a valid NM driver's license or ability to obtain one. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for hands-on growth within our maintenance program.
