Job summary

Momentum BMW Nashville seeks an Apprentice Service Technician currently enrolled in or graduate of an automotive technician training program. The apprentice will perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned by the team leader, under the guidance of a Master Technician mentor.

Tuition reimbursement is included and a minimum monthly income is guaranteed during the apprenticeship. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete automotive training, and be authorized to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Graduation from a valid automotive technical training program.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must perform their duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• All applicants must be able to pass a background check, MVR, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Mentor assigned to assist the apprentice and share knowledge.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair.
• Consult Mentor, Team Leader or Shop Foreman when needed.
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional service work is recommended.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
