Sedgwick County in Wichita is seeking an Appraiser to support the Residential and Agricultural Division with research, document management, and data entry on divisional projects such as annual re-inspection, Apex sketching, and new construction.

The role also supports other functions to meet statutory timelines and requirements. Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete IAAO 101, Kansas Property Tax Law, and Orion Intro within 3 years.
• Preferred: two years of mass appraisal experience and related degree or professional designations (RMA, CAE, RES, MAS, AAS).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare field appraiser data for entry and verify accuracy in databases.
• Enter data into appropriate databases and perform self-quality control checks.
• Follow the annual PVD Revaluation Maintenance Specifications and Compliance Guide.
• Prepare documents for scanning or import into the appropriate system.
• Assemble documents in the correct format.
