A leading mental health center is seeking a bilingual Appointment Setter & Scheduler to manage client appointments and provide administrative support. We are looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) appointment setter & scheduler with experience in the mental health field. Job Title: Appointment Setter & Scheduler Location: Remote Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time Schedule • Part-time: 8 AM PST to 12 PM PST • Full-time: 8 AM PST to 4:30 PM PST Starting rate: $5/hr Responsibilities: Appointment Scheduling & Coordination • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm client appointments • Manage therapists' availability and update calendars accordingly • Ensure appointment slots are optimized for efficiency • Send reminders and follow-ups to reduce cancellations and no-shows Client Communication & Support • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding appointment availability • Provide clear instructions for telehealth sessions and answer basic client questions • Assist clients with troubleshooting scheduling issues • Explain mental health benefits to clients, including coverage, co-pays, and deductibles Administrative Support • Maintain accurate records of scheduled appointments and cancellations using mental health EMR systems • Track appointment trends and suggest improvements to scheduling processes • Coordinate with the billing team regarding appointment-related concerns • Verify insurance and check patient eligibility before scheduling Qualifications: • Bilingual (Spanish/English) • Experience in healthcare or mental health scheduling is STRONGLY REQUIRED • Experience in scheduling, customer service, or administrative support • Knowledge of mental health EMR systems and experience managing client records • Familiarity with mental health benefits and ability to explain coverage, co-pays, and deductibles to clients • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment • EMR experience required, preferably in a mental health setting Compensation: $5 hourly
