Job Title: Appointment Scheduler (Fully Remote MUST BE LOCATED IN THE DFW AREA)

General Summary of Duties:
The Appointment Scheduler reports to the Appointment Scheduling Manager. The role involves providing exceptional customer service to both new and established patients, ensuring a positive patient experience through multi-tasking, focus, and effective communication. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records and updating patient information.
Position Responsibilities
- Answer phones promptly within two rings.
- Schedule appointments for new and existing patients following physician templates and preferences.
- Request copies of imaging, lab reports, or sleep studies as needed.
- Respond to patient inquiries via email, phone, or online submissions.
- Proactively troubleshoot conflicts and direct patients to appropriate departments.
- Coordinate with medical assistants and front office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Accurately enter patient demographics, pharmacy, and insurance information.
- Check and distribute voicemail messages appropriately.
- Manage referrals according to policies and procedures.
- Schedule audio appointments when necessary.
- Apply customer service principles to handle patient interactions calmly and pleasantly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by physicians or management.
