Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring for Unarmed PGR Retail Security Officers in Frisco, TX. We offer Full-Time and Part-Time openings with multiple shifts. Ideal candidates have prior security or customer service experience and possess a Texas security license and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Start date is immediate; location is 2601 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75034. Responsibilities include patrolling, engaging with the public, reporting, and coordinating with teams and clients to maintain

Qualifications

• Must have weekend availability.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and Texas security license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of areas in the public right-of-way to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Engage with the public and respond to calls for service in the public right-of-way.
• Maintain a visible presence and engage in professional public interactions.
• Document all interactions in clear and concise written reports.
• Communicate pertinent information to team members, safety teams, and the client.
• Monitor and/or detect suspicious behavior to assist in preventing vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior.
• Warn violators of infractions, including loitering, smoking, and possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls involving distress, alarms, fires, injuries, or unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances in a timely manner.
• Ensure all rules and regulations are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Texas driver's license
• Valid Texas Guard License
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience
• Must successfully pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug screening
• Ability to crawl, crouch, climb stairs, kneel, run, sit, stand, stoop, and walk for extended periods
