Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking qualified candidates for immediate PGR Retail Security positions. We are hiring for Unarmed PGR Retail Security Officers on 2nd Shift, full-time and part-time openings, paying $16.75 per hour.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a Security Officer, Security Guard, customer service professional, or in another safety-related field. You will perform patrols, engage with the public, document reports, and ensure a safe environment for retail partners and

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Valid Texas Guard License.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug screening.
• Ability to crawl, crouch, climb stairs, kneel, run, sit, stand, stoop, and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of areas in the public right-of-way to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Engage with the public and respond to calls for service in the public right-of-way.
• Maintain a visible security presence and engage in professional public interactions.
• Document all interactions in clear, concise, and accurate written reports.
• Communicate and pass along pertinent information to team members, safety teams, and the client.
• Monitor and identify suspicious behavior to assist in preventing vandalism, theft, and other criminal activity.
• Warn individuals of infractions, including loitering, smoking, or possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls involving distress, alarms, fire, injuries, or unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and promptly report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances.
• Ensure applicable rules and regulations are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
