Job Overview

Tops Markets is accepting applications for current and future part-time openings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Front End: Provide a positive, friendly, and lasting impression as a cashier or cart clerk, interacting directly with customers.
2. Bakery: Slice, price, package, display baked goods, and ensure proper stocking and rotation.
3. Pharmacy: Assist with medication retrieval, labeling, pricing, record-keeping, and maintaining security of controlled substances.
4. Deli / Carryout Cafe: Fulfill customer requests for deli and prepared foods, slice meats/cheeses, and ensure proper storage and display.
5. General Merchandise: Stock shelves, create displays, and organize the backroom, including first aid, non-food, and seasonal items.
6. Grocery: Stock shelves, create displays, and organize the backroom.
7. Meat: Stock, process, cut, and package meat products; assist customers with meat questions.
8. Produce: Stock, store, water, and prepare produce; fulfill customer orders for fruit and vegetable platters.
9. Seafood: Stock, store, and display seafood; assist customers with seafood questions and requests.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with customers and associates.
