Pay Rate Starting at: $15.50/hr. Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority.

Tops has a history of promoting from within, and all full-time positions are posted internally first. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Front End: The final point of contact with our customers. As a cashier or cart clerk, your main responsibility is to make a positive, friendly, and lasting impression on our customers.
• Bakery: Slice, price, package, and display baked goods. Ensure products are stocked, rotated, and stored properly.
• Pharmacy: Assist in providing health-related services. Retrieve medications, count or pour medications, label containers, price prescriptions, enter customer data, maintain records, and ensure security of controlled substances.
• Deli / Carryout Cafe: Fulfill customer requests for deli and/or prepared foods, slice deli meats/cheeses, prepare products for cases, and ensure proper storage and rotation.
• General Merchandise: Stock shelves, create and maintain displays, and organize the backroom. Includes first aid, non-food items, and seasonal products.
• Grocery: Stock shelves, create displays, and organize the backroom.
• Meat: Stock, store, rotate, weigh, label, and display meat products. Certified meat cutters or apprentices may also process and prepare meat.
• Produce: Stock, store, rotate, water, and prepare produce. Fulfill customer orders for fruit or vegetable platters.
• Seafood: Stock, store, rotate, weigh, label, and display seafood. Fulfill customer requests and answer questions.

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with customers and fellow associates.
