ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Front End: The final point of contact with our customers. As a cashier or cart clerk, your most important responsibility is to make a positive, friendly, and lasting impression.
• Bakery: Slice, price, package, and display baked goods. Ensure product is stocked, rotated, and stored properly.
• Pharmacy: Retrieve medications, count or pour medications, label containers, and enter customer data. Maintain records, ensure security of controlled substances, and complete pharmacy paperwork.
• Deli / Carryout Cafe: Fulfill customer requests for deli and prepared foods, slice deli meats and cheeses, prepare products for display, and ensure proper storage and rotation.
• General Merchandise: Stock shelves, create and maintain displays, and organize the backroom. Includes first aid items, non-food items, and seasonal products.
• Grocery: Stock shelves, create displays, and organize the backroom.
• Meat: Stock, store, rotate, weigh, label, and display meat products. Certified meat cutters or apprentices ensure quality cuts and processing.
• Produce: Stock, store, rotate, water, and package produce. Fulfill customer orders for fruit or vegetable arrangements.
• Seafood: Stock, store, rotate, weigh, label, and display seafood. Assist customers with seafood questions and requests.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
