When you complete the application, you can list two departments that interest you and/or select “any department” if you are willing to work anywhere in the store. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Front End – The front end is the final point of contact with our customers. As a cashier or cart clerk, your most important responsibility is to make a positive, friendly, and lasting impression on our customers.
Bakery - Slice, price, package, and display baked goods, ensuring product is stocked, rotated, and stored properly.
Pharmacy - If you have a passion or interest in helping to provide health-related services, a pharmacy technician may be the perfect position. You will retrieve medications from shelves, count or pour medications, label containers, properly price prescriptions, enter customer data into the computer, keep accurate records, and complete pharmacy-related paperwork. You will also maintain security of controlled substances and ensure orders are placed and supplies are stocked.
Deli/Carryout Cafe - Fulfill customer requests for deli and/or prepared foods products (e.g., ready-made meals, packaged salads, pizzas, subs), slice deli meats/cheeses to order, prepare products for cases, and ensure proper storage, rotation, and display.
General Merchandise - Ensure that products on the shelves are stocked and ready for customer purchase. Assist in creating and maintaining product displays throughout the store, and ensure the backroom is organized and products are properly stored. This includes first aid items, non-food items, and seasonal products.
Grocery - Similar to General Merchandise, ensure shelves are stocked, products are properly stored, and displays are maintained.
Meat - Ensure our meat departments are stocked, products are properly stored, rotated, weighed, labeled, displayed, and customer requests are fulfilled. Certified meat cutters or apprentices will ensure the best cuts of meat are available, and will process, cut, and trim meat products for sale.
Produce - Stock, store, rotate, water, process, wrap, slice, weigh, and package produce. Fulfill customer orders for fruit or vegetable platters and baskets.
Seafood - Stock, store, rotate, weigh, label, and display seafood products. Fulfill customer requests and answer seafood-related questions.
