RAND is seeking Information Scientists to contribute to national security policy research, applying advanced analytical and technical skills across AI-enabled tools and data-driven methods. Candidates should have documented experience in developing and evaluating research for stakeholders and policymakers, with strong communication abilities.

Competenze

Proven ability to design, develop, test, apply, and operate information/AI systems.
Experience with AI-enabled research or decision-support tools (LLMs, agentic workflows).
Strong background in data science or machine-learning for large datasets.
Security clearance or ability to obtain U.S. clearance is preferred.
Excellent written and spoken English, with cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
