Amazon’s Prime Video team is seeking an Applied Scientist to advance Generative AI for video production at scale. You will own research and production-ready systems spanning diffusion and multimodal workflows, shaping the future of entertainment.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, collaboration across teams, and delivering state-of-the-art experiences for customers, with opportunities to publish and impact global media.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in CS/CE/ML or related field with 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• 3+ years of building models for business applications.
• Experience in generative models (diffusion, flow, transformers).
• Hands-on experience with image/video synthesis and editing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop generative models for controllable synthesis across images, video, vector graphics, and multimedia.
• Advance diffusion and flow-based methods to improve efficiency, controllability, and scalability.
• Advance visual grounding, depth and 3D estimation, segmentation, and matting for production pipelines.
• Design multimodal GenAI workflows including visual-language tooling and structured prompt orchestration.
