Role Overview

As an Applied Scientist at Splunk, you will develop core AI/ML models and algorithms, collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate AI solutions, stay updated with latest research, and contribute to strategic AI research and product roadmaps.

Responsibilities

1. Develop AI/ML models for cybersecurity and observability.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI solutions.
3. Keep abreast of AI/ML research and incorporate advancements.

Minimum Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science or related field, or MS with 2-3 years industry experience.
• Experience training and fine-tuning LLMs.
• Experience with time series anomaly detection.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML tech including deep learning, NLP, unsupervised learning.
• Proven track record with Generative AI and LLMs.
• Experience deploying large-scale models to production.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Preferred: experience in cybersecurity or observability industries.
