Amazon Braket is exploring fault-tolerant quantum computing. We seek an Applied Scientist to own resource estimation and workload benchmarking for fault-tolerant quantum workloads on AWS.

You will determine physical qubits, gate depths, and error budgets for target algorithms on devices, informing decisions and roadmaps. You will codify solutions in production-quality code, working with a small team of scientists and engineers and collaborating across QEC, compilation, and product groups to

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, CS, Applied Math with focus on quantum computing.
• Research background in quantum error correction.
• Experience building computational models for quantum systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain FTQC resource estimation models for qubits and depths.
• Develop benchmarking frameworks under hardware constraints.
• Produce resource estimates to guide decisions and customer readiness.
