Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in New York is seeking an Applied Scientist in AWS Science of Security to tackle advanced and rigorous security challenges that protect customers’ data and privacy at cloud scale.

You will own design, implementation, and delivery for long-term, high-impact solutions, influence across teams, and contribute to shaping security product direction in a fast-growing AWS security program.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent research experience.
• Experience in SAT, SMT, mechanical theorem proving, symbolic simulation, programming language type systems, program analysis.
• Experience in professional software development.
• Experience programming in OCaml, Dafny, Haskell, Kotlin, Lean, Rust, Scala or related language.
