Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Austin, TX, seeks an Applied Scientist for AWS Automated Reasoning to address large, complex problems with deep domain expertise and scientific innovation.

You will own the design, implementation, and delivery of solutions with long-term impact and provide cross-organizational technical influence. You will mentor others and develop strategic plans for new solutions while shaping the technology, product, and business directions in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Experience in SAT, SMT, mechanical theorem proving, symbolic simulation, programming language type systems, program analysis.

Basic Qualifications

• Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
• Experience in any of the following areas: SAT, SMT, mechanical theorem proving, symbolic simulation, programming language type systems, program analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience programming in O'Caml, Dafny, Haskell, Kotlin, Lean, Rust, Scala or related language

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
