Job summary

Amazon invites PhD students to join an Applied Science Internship in Israel. You will own the design and development of end-to-end systems, publish technical papers, and drive production-level projects that enable Amazon Science.

You will collaborate with Amazon scientists and other interns to deploy solutions and advance multimodal AI capabilities. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a PhD in CS/ML/Engineering, proficient in Java/C++/Python, and fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a PhD program in CS, ML, or related fields.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Own design and development of end-to-end systems for production use.
• Write technical white papers and drive production-level projects.
• Collaborate with Amazon scientists and interns to deploy solutions.
• Develop algorithms/models for multimodal document intelligence, computer vision, or recommender systems.
