Job summary

Xaba is seeking an Applied Robotics Engineer to contribute to the development and deployment of AI-powered robotics automation. You will collaborate with leadership and a cross-functional team to advance cutting-edge products.

Based in San Francisco, you will work in a remote-first, distributed environment while ensuring robust hardware-software integration across welding, machining, assembling and inspection processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robot manipulators such as ABB, FANUC, UR and KUKA.
• Hands-on in designing, building and deploying robotic systems.
• Knowledge of welding, machining, assembling, or inspection in fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to develop, test and deploy AI models for robotics.
• Conduct applied research in welding, inspection, machining and assembling for AI-enabled fabrication.
• Provide training and support for Xaba's products.
• Work with customers to tailor AI-powered robotics software to their needs.
