Job summary

NVIDIA Gruppe is seeking Applied Research Interns for their Nemotron post-training team in Santa Clara, California. Interns will develop algorithms, contribute to open-source projects, and publish results.

We are now recruiting top Applied Research Interns to join the Nemotron post‑training team. Together, we will work on the next generation of Nemotron post‑training and open‑source software such as NeMo‑RL.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Develop and prototype new algorithms and models for AI model post‑training.
  • Contribute to open‑source projects such as NeMo‑RL and to the next version of Nemotron models.
  • Publish your internship project results.
What we need to see:
  • Pursuing a MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Masters students with a good publication record will be considered too.
  • Excellent Python programming skills.
  • Strong knowledge in Deep Learning for Natural Language Processing.
  • Experience with PyTorch or JAX.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage large sets of experiments.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay based on the position, your location, year in school, degree, and experience. The hourly rate for our interns is 20 USD – 71 USD.
