Job summary

Mather Institute in Evanston, Illinois, is hiring two full-time Research Associates to advance applied research, survey initiatives, and dissemination that improve wellbeing for residents, team members, and older adults nationwide.

The positions are salaried, full-time, hybrid based out of Mather’s HQ in Evanston and require local Chicagoland residency with travel to communities in Evanston/Wilmette, Tucson, and Tysons.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology or other health-related field.
• Experience with survey and data management.
• Sound statistical skills and experience using statistical analysis software (SPSS).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience conducting literature searches and contributing to literature reviews.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Management: Conduct recruitment, survey development, data collection, database management, and analyses for internal/external studies.
• Project coordination and tracking: Coordinate project tasks such as participant scheduling and provide updates for project participants.
• Report Writing and Dissemination: Develop reports for internal/external audiences, contribute to manuscripts for publication, prepare research presentations, and disseminate findings.
• Research Administration: Perform miscellaneous research assignments, including IRB applications and literature reviews.
