Job summary

At Mather Headquarters, two full-time Research Associates are needed to advance applied research and survey initiatives focused on wellbeing for residents and staff. The roles are salaried, full-time, and hybrid from the Evanston, Illinois HQ with regular travel to Mather communities in Evanston/Willmette, Tucson, and Tysons.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in psychology or related field, plus experience in survey research, data management, and SPSS.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology or other health-related field.
• Experience with survey and data management.
• Sound statistical skills and experience using statistical analysis software (preferably SPSS).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience conducting literature searches and contributing to literature reviews.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Management: recruitment, survey development, data collection, database management, and data analyses for studies.
• Project coordination and tracking: schedule participants, provide updates, manage processes for MI projects.
• Report Writing and Dissemination: develop reports, manuscripts, presentations, and disseminate findings.
• Research Administration: perform miscellaneous research tasks including IRB applications and literature reviews.
