Job summary

Colorado College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience with specialization in Applied Psychology to begin Fall 2027. The successful candidate will teach courses across the psychology curriculum, including Introduction to Psychology, methodology courses, and courses in their area of specialty.

They will also establish an undergraduate research program with student collaborators. Requirements include a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Psychology or related discipline by start of employment.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching a diverse undergraduate community.
• Experience applying psychology beyond academia and engaging non-academic settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses across the psychology curriculum, including Introduction to Psychology and methodology courses.
• Establish a robust undergraduate research program with student collaborators.
• Engage in scholarly activity and contribute to the department’s research and teaching missions.
