Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a PhD-level researcher to lead and contribute to design, implementation, and evaluation of behavioral and mHealth interventions focused on tobacco cessation in a national cancer center setting.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated scientific writing skills and experience with quantitative data analysis, and will contribute to manuscripts, grant submissions, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• PhD with training in clinical psychology, public health, behavioral science, health communication or related field.
• Evidence of scholarly productivity.
• Strong interest in tobacco control, cancer prevention, digital health, intervention development, and behavioral oncology research.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to design, implementation, and evaluation of behavioral and mHealth interventions focused on tobacco cessation.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation, development of research protocols, regulatory submissions, and grant writing.
• Mentor research staff and trainees to help support a collaborative learning environment.
