Job summary

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is seeking an Assistant Director of Applied Performance & Data Science to bridge applied sport science and data science across Gators Athletics. You will help integrate and analyze performance data to support athlete development and injury risk management.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience with collegiate or professional sports; evening/weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, sports science or appropriate area of specialization.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience with collegiate or professional sport populations.
• Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds.
• Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the integration, management, and analysis of athlete performance data across Gators Athletics.
• Transform complex datasets into actionable insights that support athlete development, performance optimization, and injury risk management.
