Eve is redefining legal tech for plaintiff law firms, leveraging AI to automate intake through resolution. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will own the full ML stack—from data curation to production deployment—and build fast, reliable AI workflows that scale with customer demand.

Collaborating with product, legal experts, and other engineers, you’ll shape the platform, push models, and deliver high-stakes reasoning capabilities that power real-world legal outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering experience focused on applied ML/AI products.
• Proven track record shipping ML systems in production with real users.
• Experience developing advanced AI systems that deconstruct complex tasks into manageable steps.
• Strong analytical sense; builds metrics-driven evaluation frameworks.
• Ownership mindset; drives projects end-to-end with ambiguity.
• Keeps up with SOTA research on new models and agent architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build AI systems that understand and reason across complex legal tasks.
• Elevate AI reasoning: refine models for high-stakes decisions in legal domain.
• Treat model quality as a core ML optimization concern with real usage data.
• Build rigorous evaluation frameworks to measure AI performance and outcomes.
